I really enjoyed this book, even though I have not read the first in the series. It's a great book for young readers. Although the main character can sometimes be self-depreciating he is also aware of his worth in spite of the negative things he sometimes hears from his peers. This story shows the value of teamwork, forgiveness, and most importantly it illustrated that no matter how different a person is, they have something valuable to offer. I won a copy of this book from a goodreads giveaway.
This was not your typical superspy book. It seemed at first like it would be, but then the characters began to stuggle to figure out which organization was the good one. I really liked all of the characters and their development. Looking forward to other books by this author.

This book was an enjoyable read for both my son and me.
Read this to your kids, they will really like it. Lots of fun and believable parts with character development. Twists and turns at every corner with some witty scerinos. The hero and his gang have roles which make up a youthful "mission impossible" team.
My daughter loves the Jackson Pearce books in this series. She literally reads them all the way through and starts over at page one again.
